Casino cost calculator
What does an evening at a slot or a table cost on average? It is the money you put through the game times its house edge, less any rakeback. Choose a game, a bet and a pace.
How to read it
- Money through the game is every bet added up, wins played again included. At $1 a spin and 300 spins an hour, two hours put $600 through a slot.
- What it costs on average is that money times the edge: $21 at 3.5%. Over many evenings the results gather around it.
- One evening can end far from it, up or down. That swing is the entertainment, and the average is its price.
- Rakeback takes a share off the price. Basepoker gives 15% on casino play, so the $21 becomes $17.85.
The edges of the common games, and the casinos at Basepoker and WePlay, are on the casino corner.
